I feel like it's the right thing to do by starting this review with a disclaimer -- I grew up in Parsippany, so Tabor is my childhood pizzeria. I grew up on this. So there's a possibility that this review is slightly biased due to nostalgia. HOWEVER, I would also like to add that my husband is a pizza connoisseur, and he is totally in love with Tabor. All of that being said, take this however you will. I love the staff here because they have always acted like you were a regular. Ownership and staff has changed over the years, but this has always remained true. You just feel familiar here which, to me, is characteristic of a quality pizzeria. The pizza is just high-quality classic pizzeria pizza. It's a Friday night staple. The piece de resistance that they recently added (May 2024) to their menu is the Crispy Bar Pie (different from their thin crust, so make sure you know what you're asking for)! Incredible pie. To me, it's up there just behind Star Tavern. Lastly, they make the best grilled chicken Caesar salad that I have EVER had. They give you a massive amount of chicken that's seasoned perfectly, and their dressing is fire. So, you can come for the pizza, but they're more than that for sure.

Some slices are more flavorful than others, which inconsistency is why it's a 4-star in my book. But I'll qualify that by saying the garlic knots are the best I've ever eaten - chewy, thick, airy, and packed with garlic flavor. I wasn't happy at all with the cheese slice, which had almost bland mozzarella and barely noticeable tomatoes. The margarita slice, eaten second, proved they know how to make flavorful tomato sauce. The veggie slice was really veggie forward - you get that medley of flavors. I appreciated the huge variety of pizzas they sold by the slice. Most places don't carry more than one veggie option and more than one thick crust slice. They claim that everything there is made same-day. On a Wednesday night at 8p, nearly 20 people were in the half-full dining room. It was a bit dark in there, so my mom and I sat at the sole table by the entryway window. There's a few outdoor tables too.

Always good food, great service and the perfect Friday night pizza. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality food in the area.

It was like going into a 2050 futuristic pizzeria surrounded by aliens and old women with great service. Imagine pulling up on the pizza place to be greeted by a Tesla CyberTruck! Talk about service. In theory they could take us anywhere we wanted to go in the truck as long as we buy a pie. By the way: we got the Tabor Special pizza and the Penna Vodka pizza--both were *literally* out of this world. If you're looking for a pizza place that has the ambiance of future Jersey queens you need to stop in. As an added bonus we initially went due to Dave Portneys review. It deserves a higher rating!! Would go back!

Five Star Pizzeria All Day Every Day!! with the key takeaway points here being that they always use the freshest of ingredients and put in countless hours of preparation time in order to serve up some of the most delicious food around. Add to that a menu full of Amazing Entrées, Hot & Cold Sandwiches, Salads, and you got yourself a winning combination where their Goal is always keeping their customers happy and well fed. Which as we all know go hand in hand Lol.   So whether you're watching the big game or just hanging out with hunger you really can't beat Tabor Pizzeria. Come And Get Your Munch On!!

I loved the pizza. I normally get the plain pizza to really judge the quality. I was not disappointed. The pizza is flavorful and delicious

Stopped in for a plain slice on my way home and thought it was excellent! Great tasting sauce and just the right thickness. I was going to get it to go, but they have plenty of seating. Service was very friendly. Since it's on my way, I see myself stopping back here quite often!

Our first time here! We wanted to try something different, and we saw this was a Barstool One Bite 7.9 from Dave Portnoy, so we thought we would give it a try. We ordered 2 large pies (well done) and I think they came out great, and quickly. It was only a 20 minute wait for a sunday night football night. What was interesting was the sauce, and nobody can really put their finger on what made it interesting and if we all liked it. We would definitely go back since its good for the area, but its not our favorite.
